Theoretical Performance and Design Inspired by Martha Graham
2023 Northwestern MFA Class Project
“Conversation of Lovers” from “Acts of Light” choreography by Martha Graham is a duet exploring the constant, yet ever-changing, ties that exist between lovers.
Taking its title from a phrase by Emily Dickinson, a poet beloved by Graham, the dance introduced a new period in Graham’s work.
