“Like A Moth to the Flame” is an idiom in Chinese. It means metaphorically to go to the desired goal regardless of everything.
I use color and fabric texture to connect the two images. The shapes are inspired by animals and plants. Moths, animalized flames; flowers and flowing water. Through the contrast and combination of stiffness, transparency and colour in the fabric, the dynamic balance of the two sides is presented.

Like A Moth to the Flame
Moths are going
in your direction./
Or you yearn for lighting
and forget how weak the fire is.
The meteor wings pounced
on the star flame.
My eyes, you broke in here
and burned.
